Syd Barrett Remastered: An introduction to Syd Barrett

As a big fan of Syd Barrett, I am surprised that I hadn't Barrett collection called "an introduction to Syd Barrett" heard about the new remastered SYD today.

What's on these 18 track Pack clean is being remastered and contains songs from his time as head of the Pink Floyd and resigned Floyd solo career.

Look at the track listing now it seems like a nice overview of Barrett's career, although it's definitely a lot of great songs that are missing. There are only three tracks from the Piper at the gates of dawn, the debut album by Pink Floyd, ("Matilda mother," "Chapter 24" and "Bike") and one of these ('Matilda mother') is an alternative version.

The Piper at the gates of dawn is a true psychedelic classic, and you should hear definitely on the whole thing if you not yet!

There are a number of cool solo songs, the missing from this Auflistung.Ich think that both are his solo albums (The Madcap Laughs & Barrett) definitely value consultation in its entirety.

Said; "Introduction" (and thats all CD claims be) it's very gut.Und although I have heard, all these songs before I plan on the buy it now (download from Amazon MP3) because I want to hear the remastered versions of the songs I have heard, I'm vor.Auch are not only remastered but actually remixed over those who the alternative version of 'Matilda Mother' sounds like carious and a number of songs, so I'm curious to hear what you that both have done.
