From 3 pm on the second day of the High Sierra I felt I like seen, band had set in the flesh with the preservation Hall Jazz a few living legends and Nels Cline's swing bass set start in the day. But I was not prepared at all to see Zakir Hussain, Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer, an other absolute climax of the Festival for me.With a sunny and hot in the afternoon sun burned on the main stage set some brought this power trio folk musician of the most beautiful music this festival I've ever heard live heard gespielt.Ich ahead of time and I knew what kind of music to expect from Bela, but the addition of tablas and double bass rounded out the sound and seemed fitting for the mountains of Northern California.
I was fortunate enough, to visit this festival from the perspective of a photographer able, which meant that I just 10 meters from the these musicians stand and watch with people like Marc Friedman atemberaubend.Ich stand next to mir.Die music which setting, the atmosphere, the feeling - was it that had back hugest grin, when I went to meet after I shot the set; really inspiring to my friends.
